According to NRC Handelsblad (Friday 9 Oct) Prince of Orange missed the morning voting session at the Bella Center in Copenhagen during which Jacques Rogge was re-elected for as Chairman of the IOC.
The original time schedule the Prince had in his diary said 9 a.m. but since he had left a meeting before it ended the day before he had missed the information announced at the end of that meeting that the voting session would be half an hour earlier. Prince of Orange said sorry when he arrived at the meeting but said that also he would have voted for Jacques Rogge... (Unintended he, as the only IOC member, declared whom he would have voted for although it's unknown what the other members had voted.) During the coffee break the Prince said: "I am ashamed that I hadn't got the message that the meeting would start half an hour earlier."
Prince of Orange, however, was in time to elect new members, such as Prince Frederik of Denmark. The two princes sometimes call eachother and experienced IOC member Prince of Orange gives some advice to his Danish counterpart (something which Prince of Orange told the Danish media).
