I've been on an upswing from the crazies and been happy to be happy lately, then this: My sister has been incredibly supportive. She consistently argues on my behalf to our mom. My mom is great with me, but shares her concerns with my sister. Anyway, GF and I and some friends are celebrating GF's birthday on Saturday. I invited my sis. She said, "No thank you, I'm not ready to be around you guys yet." She was very sweet and polite about it. It hurts nonetheless. I know it's a small thing, considering I have much to be thankful for. It just brought me down a notch.
Now on to baking cakes for GF and cleaning the kids' house in preparation for my (ex) father-in-law's arrival around lunch time. (Don't ask why I'm cleaning - some kind of apology, I don't know.) Crazy lives we live!
