H has been ribbing me for a year. Frankly, his comments were always actually funny and I laughed at them. It eased the tension and it was his way of trying to figure out what was going on with me. He didn't think they were so funny anymore after I confessed that he was right and I am attracted to women.
When someone makes a crack at you, diffusing it with humor is the best way to handle it, because it gives you the power. If you show that it bothers you, it gives them the power. That goes for anything. If you can laugh at yourself, you've got a big leg-up on everyone else!
