Ive been out of town for a couple of days...and read some older threads to catch up...seems like i miss all the good stuff..but great reading...well, i have good news but no one to share it with so i thought i would post...hope y'all don't mind, i found out the other day that i was approved for a breast reduction probably in dec/jan timeframe...i am really psyched about it...told the dr to give me man boobs, he sorta chuckled, guess he didn't realize how serious i was...anyway, don't really want all of it gone just back to normal prior to breast feeding... also, while away i was able to talk with my xggf so that is always amazing....we are just friends now but i enjoy the conversations...she is a lll and also a foster parent and in quite a pickle... she wants to adopt her f.c. but it is illegal to be gay and adopt, well in her state anyway...she said that that was just a label and she is not gay...she just is who she is and isn't seeing someone right now, so doesn't matter...i listened intently...it really amazes me how homophobic we still are in this country...not to mention the don't ask dont tell policy that the boss promised to take off the books...i think his promises mean shit...and i realize these things take time...but they have such an impact on ppl like me and my friends....my intuition tells me that she will adopt and move to a state that is more accepting of this...she also took the time to chew on me and my situation, so i had quite a bit to think about on that 6 hour drive home...funny how she can tell me anything/everything so personal about herself and yet keep me at arms length...oh well...life is a journey, i truly believe mine is just starting again...and from my heart each and everyone of you that take the time to post have had some impact on my thoughts....if you can dream it, you can be it....much peace, bb
