writing, painting, drawing, are all creative outlets, but you know for puberty the best thing for all that energy is something physical. Think teen boys and football. Do you like martial arts? they put emphasis on both physical and mental discipline. or you could go wrassle that cat of yours. unless he is to dignified for that kind of thing.

: I should just enjoy it but the immaturity of
: it all is frustrating the heck out of me. I
: guess that's what happens when you don't
: explore your emotions/feelings the first
: time around. Your identity eventually has
: to play catch up.

: I feel conflicted. My supervisors have
: already made it clear that we are to be
: clinical and professional at all times,
: which is fine and expected. But there is
: this part of me that wants to giggle like a
: 12 yo run around do cartwheels and fall in
: love with the pretty blue sky. Is it
: possible I am starting to love (or fall in
: love with) myself?
:
: Most of my uni/college friends know about
: rlx split with H but not sexuality. They
: are helpful and supportive but they are
: trying to keep me busy with study groups and
: interesting cases to take my mind off
: things. The problem is I don't feel like
: being clinical and rational. I want to be
: emotive and explore who I am. I think I
: need a hobby to channel my emotions and
: self-discovery into, so then I can
: concentrate on work when I need to. Any
: suggestions for a hobby/activity?
