You're welcome. I've been lurking here this fall--just beginning to comment more often recently. Now that you see what happened with HER, you can understand why I am a bit gun-shy with internet friends. The community she and I were in wasn't like this one--not exactly. We were all fans of something. But we did write and discuss issues of sexuality and queer identity and gay sex pretty explicitly, so I am...just trying to not dive in too deep here with others on AJ. kwim?
In real life this has happened as well. I am normally so open and loving of female friends but am now closed and stony. This can't go on forever but right now I am so afraid of going through that love and loss again. And simultaneously, I am terrified of NEVER feeling that way again in my life. ugh.
