OOOOooooohhhh this is going to be fun! I haven't relived this story in awhile.
"(which, I assume means that you are, or were, married to a man, and now are in love with a woman)". Interestly enough, I am the single girlfriend (SGF) of a "married" girlfriend (MGF). I have never been married myself. I have been on this site since Sept '07 (I can't believe it's been that long!!)
I first became friends with my girlfriend through an online message board fan club (not AJ). At first I didn't know anything about her... so much so I thought she was a grandpa (named Jack) telling stories about his grandkids. LOL. We still laugh about that. We met in person at a concert in Sept 2006. I soon found out she wasn't a grandpa! LOL. I was immediately interested by her unique appearance, and quiet, friendly, but sort of mysteriously wistful (at that time) demeanor. After that concert we exchanged emails on a regular basis, almost once a day, still just friendly, but a deep intimate friendship. I went to her house over my reading week in Feb 07, and she shared some really personal thoughts, feelings, journals etc with me. At this time still friends. We emailed back and forth even more, until we met again at another concert on March 24th 07. That night there was a build up of really positive energy between us. After the show there was a group of fans chatting in a hotel room, and my gf (still friend) seemed troubled and wanted to go to her room (which another friend and I were sharing with her to cut costs). I stayed a little while longer, but didn't want my friend to be sad and alone during a concert which was supposed to be a fun thing... so I went to keep her company in our room. The room only had one queen sized bed... she sat on one side she was writing in her journal... I didn't want to disturb her so I just got under the covers on the opposite edge of the bed. She finished writing, we may have talked a little (I honestly can't remember)... but I DOOOOO remember her asking to kiss me. And we did... and we've been together ever since.
There's so much more of our story I could share, but that's how we met/ ended up dating!
