So sorry you are hurting, gettingitright. You gave it your best, but she was never truly available to you, she was committed elsewhere. It doesn't mean she didn't love you.
You will have to grieve the loss of this relationship, but don't let the grief drag on too long. In time you will find another love, one who is truly available to you. She's out there somewhere waiting.
