bj, there is no greater gift you can give your children than YOURSELF, just as you are.
Certainly there will be some difficult times ahead, but in the long run, they will thank you for being yourself, and being honest. Living a lie in front of your children teaches them to live a lie......so think of it this way: if one of your children were in your situation, what would you want for them? You are teaching them to be true to themselves.
Keep moving forward, and know that all the changes will be assimilated into their lives in time, and you will all be just fine.
