NO, you're not being selfish. You're prepared for tomorrow and you're right, no time is the right time. He's just scared but it's something that has to be done. The sooner the better too so you can both move forward. It won't do either of you any good to delay it. Also, the longer you put it off the more chance there is of the kids picking up on the fact that somethings wrong.
