you go, girl...it sounds like you're in exactly the right place to be doing this...the right words, the right time, the right way, the right balance of fear and bravery, relief and trepidation...i admire your guts (i was gonna say 'balls' but that might be too butch for us androgynes or whatever we 'tested in' as!) - your huevos, as we used to say in L.A. (which technically means eggs)... you know what I mean. Courage. Confidence. Strength. Power. Integrity. Heart. Soul. Grace. Boldness. Love.
To quote one of my favorite married-to-a-man/in-love-with-a-woman women:
We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face ... we must do that which we think we cannot.
Gotta love Eleanor, though she never did leave FDR, per se...she just waited for him to die. Not sayin' that's what I'm doin'. I'm just sayin' ...
Write, post, send smoke signals when you can - I *KNOW* it will go perfectly ("perfectly" = emotional, monumental, tears, talking, maybe a laugh or a light moment, hugs, shock, understanding, mad, scared, happy, sad...it might all happen all at once!! AND THAT IS OKAY!!)
