i think

women communicate differently,

women expect more intimacy and openness, more feelings type exchanges.

whereas men are content w/ grunts/one word conversations.

i think maybe this means if she is not used to how women talk about intimacy and self-disclosures and secret sensitivities

because she has spent the majority of her time around men,

maybe she comes here and sees this whole "women are so intense" thing as intimidating? esp when the communication comes from active rough and tumble types?

i can guarantee you girlz, rough and tumble types have feelings too.

at any rate, i guess we should try and help others learn how to negotiate feelings communications as much as possible.
