I have always loved your posts and you pop on here every once-in-awhile, and love to hear what your opinions are. I agree that the thread wasn't removed because it was challenging, it was definately removed for how personal it became.
My POV on this, and I'm sure it doesn't matter, is that if this personal discussion between very intelligent and strong women is enough to scare women off from this site, they're going to have a hard time irl. I don't mean to be negative, sincerely, this is not an easy journey and a whole lot more will come that will truly SCARE the crapolla out of you. Trust me.
I'm not saying everyone here needs to have such strong convictions and deliver them the way others do, heck when I came here I certainly didn't know up from down or left from right. I was a huge mess. I enjoy every opinion and when I see it turns personal, I leave it alone. Grown, intelligent women usually work through this on their own. I by-pass what isn't meant for me.
With all of that being said, I do think some of this should be taken off board, but I also know that I have a CHOICE to read or not. I choose to disreguard when it doesn't involve me. I wish others would too. IRL not all people will be fond of everyone they come in contact with and neither in cyber-land, but each and every opinion and point is valid if that is how that person feels. Peace!

: I don't think the thread was removed because
: women were being challenged to think about
: things they didn't want to think about. That
: can be difficult to deal with, but is
: ultimately beneficial to those who accept
: the challenge and face their denial. I wish
: someone had asked me those hard questions
: when I was on my journey.
:
: I believe the thread was removed because of
: the nasty, personal name-calling attacks -
: which is NEVER beneficial to anyone here,
: and scares women away.

: I could be off the mark...but I'm thinking
: that trying to make this board feel 'safe'
: for the few who probably won't feel safe on
: any online forum would involve
: underestimating the capacity of most of the
: people who read/post here.
:
: What do you think?
