I guess you could look at fear as something that reminds us we are still alive. You are taking a huge step in your life that is basically into the unknown. You will be ok. If you are strong enough to make the decision to go you will be strong enough to face your fears.
The question one has to ask themselves is this: Is this what I really want, who I really am or am I just exploring this unknown world out of curiosity? I'm guessing you know for sure who you are and what you prefer because you took that first big step. I think once you get settled in and into your new lifestyle that you will be free to live in btw, it will feel more like home to you. You give the rest here stuck in between lots of insight and maybe a little more direction than before we read this thread.
