My n and I are moving forward somewhat. The talk with her h went as well as could be expected. (He already knew about us, but it had been swept under the carpet). Basically they decided on an in house separation at this point. She made it clear that she believes she is gay and is in love with me.
I am relieved that things are out in the open now, but I know this can't be a long term solution. He still seems to want to control things, and basically wants appearances to stay the same. It is a step, at least, and we will see how things go. I feel now like I need to begin coming out to my family. It will be a big relief to me when that process begins. It is what I need to do.
We love each other very much and I know we are lucky to have that love.
