Totally understand what you're saying Amy. Cheating is breaking my vow. Please believe me when I say, this was not my intention. It happened with someone close to me and my family and she's 25 years younger, so it really was a shocker when it happened. I'm wrong, guilty and I do my best to please all involved. To divorce would be worse. I'm invested in every part of my marriage and I have a GF. He is happy, she is happy and it's the best I can do for now. Hopefully one day I can be 100% committed again to my vow, but for now I have to be ok with 70%. Thanks for getting me to look in the mirror again.

: Is one vow more sacred than another? Didn't
: you make a vow not to cheat too? I'm just
: wondering why one vow is more valuable (not
: divorcing) than another (cheating)? Maybe
: you have an open marriage? Maybe this is
: something you can live with while divorce is
: not.
:
: I'm sure you will make whichever decisions
: are the ones that are right for you at the
: moment. But I do wonder how one vow is more
: important than another? I do respect the vow
: thing, which is why I'm curious about this.

: Hi Amy,
: I respect what you're saying and obviously
: your decision has worked for you. Fo me, I
: made a vow and I'm doing the best I can to
: be happy and enjoy myself. Live for today,
: have hope in tomorrow and never let your
: dreams die. Take care.

: I left my marriage a long time ago and now
: live full time with my GF. I still cherish
: each moment but no longer have the sadness
: at the end. Nobody knows just how long we
: have on this earth and each day is a gift.
: That's part of why I chose to spend my time
: wisely with the one I love, watching young
: friends die unexpectedly has a way of
: reminding me not to live with crap today in
: hopes of a better tomorrow.
:
: You are right, cherish your moments. We're
: only one heartbeat away from death, we just
: don't know which heartbeat it will be.
:
: P.S. I do plan for tomorrow, but I don't
: procrastinate when it comes to love and
: happiness. Things can be replaced, time
: cannot.

: Was with my gf yesterday afternoon, we
: really
: enjoyed each other. It's so hard when our
: "time is up," and we have to go
: back to our own separate lives. It makes me
: realize and truly cherish our time together.
: She is so much younger and I'm the married
: one, so I'm sure you understand how special
: our time is when we do get it. If you're in
: my situation, I'm sure you also understand
: how fast that time goes by. I cherish every
: second and hope she'll be with me for a long
: time. Thanks for the ears! xo
