no need to attend a funeral!
just enjoy the day. try to remind yourself that that life is precious.
ALSO, I've mainly been to Ukrainian/eastern european funerals/wakes...omg they are very different. They seem to really play up the drama and the grim factor! Sorry if I've offended anyone with that statement, but that has been my experience.
I want a nice uplifting service like that one was. Much better I think. That was also adding to my happiness this morning, the fact that life does go on after death (IMO) and that should be the atmosphere in which to have a funeral. NOT just saying the words and the prayers, but really believing it!! Again, IMO.
So my perspective on funerals has changed!
