Just watching it now and seeing the storyline about Addison and the former female patient of hers. Addison had had an emotional affair (kissed...no sex) with the patient's husband (also a doctor). Anyway, the patient just told Addison that it doesn't matter that it doesn't matter that they never had sex. She said her husband can "get over" sex, but it's harder to get over someone when you are in love and had an emotional connection. She said something like, "now for the rest of my marriage....YOU will always be there...I will ALWAYS wonder if my husband is thinking about YOU and still loving YOU". (something like that).
Anyway, I just thought it was thought provoking.

: So, what did you think of tonight's episode
: involving Callie and her father? Although I
: have not come out to my father yet, I HAVE
: come out to my mother and I was able to
: relate a little bit with Callie. I come
: from a Catholic family, so I know the MORE
: traditional Catholic extended members in my
: family (aunts/uncles) will probably have a
: mouthful to say to me (or maybe not).
: Anyway, I appreciated the storyline and of
: course, the happy ending between Callie and
: her father in the end.
:
: Oh, and I really liked what Arizona told
: Callie about giving her father a little time
: to "adjust" to the idea of his
: daughter being gay. That he'd always been
: consistent and has known her to be Het, but
: now that she has come out, she needs to give
: her dad some time. Made sense the way she
: explained it.
