So, what did you think of tonight's episode involving Callie and her father? Although I have not come out to my father yet, I HAVE come out to my mother and I was able to relate a little bit with Callie. I come from a Catholic family, so I know the MORE traditional Catholic extended members in my family (aunts/uncles) will probably have a mouthful to say to me (or maybe not). Anyway, I appreciated the storyline and of course, the happy ending between Callie and her father in the end.
Oh, and I really liked what Arizona told Callie about giving her father a little time to "adjust" to the idea of his daughter being gay. That he'd always been consistent and has known her to be Het, but now that she has come out, she needs to give her dad some time. Made sense the way she explained it.
