Yeah. Gambit and Moon Knight have met before back in the Marc Spector: Moon Knight days. If I remember right, the writer at the time had the same idea that a pairing of MK and Gambit would be cool. I think it had something to do with the fact they both carried battle-staves at the time. They threw in MK's old buddy The Werewolf as well to make it a three-man team and had them all fighting some demon/mutant hybrids.
I'm not super excited by the prospect, but I've never really liked Gambit. I can see how the two would be a good match though. That said, playing hall monitor at Mutant High seems like a weird assignment for Moon Knight.
