: I don't think it's as overt as that, but in
: issue #1, Moon Knight is the first person to
: sense Onslaught's presence in the Roxxon
: facility, telling his team he can feel evil
: at work. Sean McKeever even has a little
: fun with Marc's mental state. While
: standing near some tubes connected to the
: Negative Zone, Marc tells the Secret Avenger
: the tubes have a voice. Without missing a
: beat, he then says something like, "And
: before you ask, it isn't one of mine."
: Also of some note I suppose, Onslaught uses
: his powers to control the minds of a group
: of children armed with assault rifles and
: Antman claiming he can influence the minds
: of others even in his weakened state. Since
: Moon Knight isn't affected, it might be a
: sign that he's still a hard guy to
: I'm with you. I hated the original
: Onslaught stuff, but this story seems more
: about tying up Young Allies business than
: reintroducing Onslaught as a major threat.
: This isn't an "Event" book like
: Civil War or Secret Invasion. It doesn't
: even rate a Shadowland in terms of it's
: "THINGS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!"
: (TWNS!) meter. I have a strong feeling
: things will be more-or-less the same by the
: time this is over. Onslaught Unleashed
: feels more like a love letter to fans of the
: Young Allies book who never got to see the
: series come to a satisfying conclusion. At
: the very least, I'd say pick up the trade if
: you're an MK fan.
: --Previous Message--
: hummmm. yeah, Onslaught is a pretty terrible
: villain all around. I wouldn't mind seeing
: some panels where we get to see MK's
: reaction to the telepathic force, since it
: is evidently still canon somehow or another
: that he has a certain degree of resistance
: to such attacks and it would be interesting
: regardless to see more interplay between MK
: and a telepathic character.
