: I just heard Bendis on Newsarama.com live @
: 12:45 and he stated he loves the multiple
: personality aspect of the character and he
: is not ignoring the past history of the
: character. He also stated that it won't be
: out for a while, I heard sometime in the
: first quarter of next year, so I would guess
: March/April. He was said "I will stay
: on the title as long as they will have me.

: From the pics at least it looks like MK is
: giving up his STARK armor. If that's true,
: maybe Bendis will bring back the MK we
: remember. MK in Heroes for hire makes about
: sense as Nova, the man without fear! Both
: waay out of their elements.

: This is exciting news to say the least. I
: give
: Marvel a lot of credit in their persistence
: of establishing Moon Knight as an A list
: character. The key word I focus on the
: announcement is
: "reinterpretation". Bendis did not
: say re-imagining, or re-invent. Since the
: last 2 series didn't hit the mark, maybe the
: reinterpretation will. Especially with
: Maleev on the artwork. In my opinion, he can
: accomplish on Moon Knight now what
: Sienkiewicz did on Moon Knight back then.
: This has a lot of potential. I enjoyed
: Bendis' Ultimate Moon Knight, which didn't
: stray too far off of the original material,
: but made it fresh and intriguing. I'm
: posting the only image that I have found so
: far. I'm sure there will be a press release
: after the con with better images, but for
: right now all we have is a photo of the
: announcement at the Cup O Joe panel.

: Yeah I'm not too familiar with Bendis's
: work,
: but I didn't really like his Avengers issue,
: so I dropped it after the first one (never a
: big avengers fan anyway) Is his Daredevil
: run kind of dark and Moon Knight-ish?
: Because I don't really want a bright and
: cheery MK... But I'm glad its not totally
: getting cancelled. Hopefully things will get
: good.

: Moon Knight is pretty much reinvented every
: time he gets a new series. Personally, I'm
: excited that he will get another series
: again. I hope it's better than the last
: series, though I'm not too familiar with
: Bendis' work.
:
: I will wait to see some previews before I
: start to worry.

:
: Idk how I feel about this. Bendis has a
: critically acclaimed Daredevil run, but I
: had to drop his Avengers run. It simply
: wasn't doing it for me. The thing that
: REALLY gets me is the
: "reinvention" of Moon
: Knight.....didn't that just happen ?
