He uses it left handed as the captain did, burns through the deck plating with a laser from the back of his right hand, fires a cable and... a super magnetic anchor ball?... out of his right hand, then shoots Valk's horse with a crescent and cable from his left hand - and the super powerful artifact that can accelerate air to nearly light speed is now simply missing.
And there's the parachute instead of gliding with the cape...and the bow thing again... It's like they've been trotting out these gimmicks to gauge our reaction; the crescent gun, wrist parachutes, the bow (I keep coming back because it seems like it's there just because he's an Avenger now and someone needs to fill the Hawkeye role, like Bullseye in the Dark Avengers - Bah!). Just cape, darts and truncheon for me please!
Whoa sorry, got started on a rant there

: it against the sea creatures after the
: Barracuda pirate dropped it

: Something else that I thought was odd: when
: fighting against the sea creatures, did he
: shoot some kind of energy blast at one?
