I stated in another post about the need for this new title to have a direction that builds up Moon Knight as they`ve spent way to long tearning him down.
The previous title tired the whole dark Punisher tone and this new one seems to be going the mainstream superhero route. Both fit the character but theyneed to be done right.
All the popular mainstream heroes have 3 things in common :
1) They are relatable
2) they have a strong supporting cast
3) awesome rogues gallery
Moon Knight Volume 4 for to long treated Moon Knight like a crazy person and I for one am glad this title is doing away with that. I don`t mind him going through a few emotion problems but to drag it out for 30 issues was just to much.
With Volume 5 we are getting some who is confident in himself and his mission and is someone we can cheer for to win. So this is definately a good start. Now all we need is to get his supporting cast back in place and start defining his rogues gallery.
To me definately Bushman is his main rival and it looks like he will be making an appearance very soon. As it was stated by another poster Morpheus is still out there.
I`ll finish my rant on this. A hero is only as good as his villians and unfortunately Moon Knights villians have been pretty lame lately.
