: Seriously, just lay off on some of the
: supporting characters...there just isn't
: enough pages.
:
: All we need is Moon Knight and his crazy.
:
: Good issue though, 8.5/10
:
Thought it was less a hit and more of miss...

Not a fan of zombie comics/art and that's the vibe of the cover.
Missed the fact of the matter revealed in the PrevPage that Khonshu himself help MK with his Registration - and am surprised by this confirmation that contradicts the current theme, repeated in the first paragraph, keeping readers/MU guessing if Khonshu IS real. Also missed the intent(seduction?) of Carson to 'keep his clean start clean'. These reflect how the story for 'some reason' is... wanting.
Obviously effort was made to name characters in the story but NOT the ones that HAD to be for me(and new readers). MOST especially: Marlene, Frenchie, Frenchiesboyfriend , Nonamepilot, and even connecting the name to Black Spectre(gotten from Wiki-research for my last review). Bushman is mentioned in the PrevPage but doubt all new readers could place the connection to Marlene's subtle footnote or MK's sidekick curse.
Presumably that's Frenchie and his boyfriend watching MK on the news and presumably he gets up disgusted by the MK news.
Presumably that's Marlene watching MK on the news in front of the Electronic Store (that probably not that busy on a deserted street; location location location!).
LIKED the fact that Tony is shown exercising but that detail was tainted by the lack of detail in the poorly drawn bottom panel. Presumably SHIELD cloaks the doorknobs... no, that's too much...
Presumably Dr Depford's death should be assumed, by readers, to be NOT connected to the Carson killing even though he appears in segue.
Presumably that's Carson killing the weaponsmith, who BTW, lost all potential intrigue upon his death.
Presumably that's Marlene having a heated discussion about topics that only long invested readers can make out. And speaking of make out, does her coat turn into a sexy shirt with only ONE button... err what was I talking about again...
Presumably the MK images here are for reader's benefit to plainly show it's MK with these conflicting emotions which is ironic in an issue where the readers are expected to KNOW who's who.
Presumably Buck and his gang are the SHIELD agents that killed Depford and stole the Stark-tech and Carson(with the scar in this scene) was there for (un)intentional reasons TO BE revealed.
Pesumably MK fired two of Spector's unnamed employees for... watching TV.
Presumably Detective Flint and Agent Ryan talking over another suspected MK villain was intended and that THREE PAGES(?!) was a dramatic necessity.
Presumably a hooker(please say that's NOT Marlene) is a lady MK would call while on the run from police and SHIELD.
Presumably the story is teasing readers with Mr Nonamepilot(maybe Wiki will say it's Frenchie's son?) as a possible next MK stand in. Bushman is right about MK respecting the guy deep down 'cuz he doesn't fire the guy for doing worse stuff than watching TV.
LIKED the fact that Tony shows up with SHIELD. HEY! Capekillers actually locate a superhuman fugitive. Good for them. Presumably Tony is SO involved with a penny ante murder suspect, as opposed to globabl Mighty Avenger threats, because of his kinship to a fellow Avenger.
Even though this cliffhanger was exciting - thought the same of 16's ending but that one ended up going nowhere!
Oh, Moon Knight effectively/disappointly evaded the police with OFF panel skill and sure, Mr. Nonamepilot got brief weak chastisement stuck in after the anticipation faded.
Not to mention the fact that this ending was effectively the exact same as last issue!
As in my last review, still WANT Moon Knight to succeed as a title! However, there seemed too much lack of clarity - on the other hand my presumptions may be erroneous. Despite the frustration of this story, will presumably get next issue.
