I think that being super-dark is the only way this title will thrive...there are so many other light or edgy but still light comics out there. Being so dark and not a MAX title is what makes it unique.

: I was thinking that it depicts how he sees
: himself, deranged as it is (inner trauma as
: you'd put it, Byci). I'm diggin' the
: darkness that they're bringing out in the
: character and putting on the covers, yet
: don't want to see it get too dark, ya know?
: Glad they're bringing back the Black
: Spector. Should make for a great outlet for
: MK to take out his dark side on!

: Moon Knight is a very complexed character a.
: nd
: these abstarct covers are a great way of
: representing his inner trauma. I mean,
: somebody who is new to the character would
: learn more about the Moon Knight character
: and what he's about from these cover's than
: they would from any wikipedia article.
:
: The current cover is a depiction of his
: twisted view of society, and justice.
:
: The second cover depicts Marc Spector
: looking into a mirror for a self portait,
: but instead drawing Moon Knight. Thats
: symbolic in so many ways...
