Yeah, I hear ya on the TV show. Moon Knight has so much depth that a couple of movies might not be able capture it all. I just cringe at MK having cheesy special effects and being too watered down.
Did you watch the Blade series? I saw the whole season, and liked it alot. In the pilot they refer to Marc Spector! It was pretty sweet for those of us who know who he is.

: There's at least a couple of threads on the
: issue of a Moon Knight movie and or TV
: show... I'm torn on the idea, a movie would
: allow for a bigger budget for better FX,
: while a tv show would allow for a better
: environment (in the long run) to delve into
: the character and all that he is, whether
: you're looking for superpowers and Egyptian
: Gods, or just plain old psychosis -or a
: little of both? ... ok, I guess I'm
: leaning towards a TV show!

: Literally. Since getting back into Moon
: Knight
: after a LONG hiatus away from comics. I just
: don't really want to read other comics as
: much as I do Moon Knight.
:
: I understand why some people wouldn't like
: him. He is a complex, adult oriented
: character, and that may be too much for
: simple comic readers to handle. I however,
: am really liking Moon Knight and would love
: to see a Moon Knight movie that really delt
: with his mental issues. Now that's a movie!
