So, this wednesday the Marvel Select Moon Knight figure was released. I figured I'd drop some info about what I thought of this toy. It is the third Moon Knight figure ever released, and It is by far the best (thats not saying much considering its lame competition however). So, what people should be aware of is that the toy is modeled after the Huston/Finch run that is currently being published. So with that In mind, i will judge how well it does at representing their particular interpretation of Moon Knight.
*The paint job is spot on. Though like many others I prefer a darker colored Moon Knight, this toy accuratley conveys the color of the current running story arc.
*The basic sculpt is relativley attractive
*The Khonshu statue Looks great
*Crescent Stone florring is really cool
*Seam on suit and cape looks cool.
*The posability of this figure is severly lacking. Particularly in the knee joints. Definatley not as movable as Legends figures. But because of the posability, not as sleek as DC direct figures either.
*The Crescent darts are a flimsy rubber.
*The khonshu statue is hollow from behind.
*Cape/hood shape is not very good, and it is bolted to his back
*The figure is not as bulky as he is in the comcis.
P.S. there is a marvel legends MK up and coming soon.
