: So I have read the second and third issues
: of
: Moon Knight and absolutely love them.
: However, I missed the first issue. Can
: somebody spoil if for me? I may just pick up
: the trade anyway but please help if you can.
: Also, does Moon Knight have any powers? I
: only remember him having enhanced strength
: during a full moon or something but am not
: sure. What about Bushman? Thanks.
:
:
: Bushman has no super powers that have ever
: been displayed.
:
: Moonknights powers have very rarely been
: used. Its established that he has them, but
: only on a very few occasions have they been
: commented on or in fact shown to be used.
:
: Personally i prefer him without powers -
: just makes it all the more sweet when he
: defeats his enemies.

Moon Knight's strength increased with the phases of the moon for some time after being bitten by the Werewolf (by Night) through his silver chain mail. The effects of the bite gradually faded away. The same strength increase/ phase of the moon relationship was brought back in the Fist of Konshu series, but was apparently bestowed upon him by Konshu's priests (if I remember correctly). I think that Moonie's powers have been a lot like his relationship with Konshu, i.e. mysterious and often times confusing. Marc's strength, ressurections, and relationship with Konshu serve to add elements of supernatural confusion to his already unstable psyche. Moon Knight is constantly plagued by self doubt, and the awareness that he might be crazy. The only things that kept him on track were the people who love him (Frenchie and Marlene), his desire for justice and/or vengence, and his love of kicking ass. He's highly skilled, unpredictable, and will come back from the dead to take care of business. And now he's finally back in a comic where he's getting the caliber of literary treatment that he deserves.
