(SPOILERS)" --Previous Message-- The stories are the same and I honestly think you would enjoy it. It has the same feel as the original series. Back when he was brutal, hard hitting and had problems dealing with his inner demons. The only part I have not liked so far is suddenly making a character gay for no reason other than to just get attention. It is becoming the norm for writers in comics these days. : even this latest revelation, it's just I have not seen a deconstruction of the character yet (still have not been able to get #3 unfortunatly). It is more of the same rebirth feel that Moon Knight always goes through. He reaches a down point, needs help but is too proud and ends up getting it not only from his friends, but the one thing he wants out of his life so much, but at the sametime always relies on it so much. That of course is Khonshu.

: as a long-time moon knight fan, i am so glad
: i'm not reading this series. from the
: interviews, the art, and the reviews, i
: really don't see anything worthwhile in it.
: i just can't figure out what everyone else
: is seeing in it. everything that people say
: they like about it tends to be exactly what
: is keeping me from the majority of comics
: these days. i've usually found something to
: enjoy in all of moon knight's previous
: incarnations, not here.
: jumping on the bandwagon. i don't mind gay
: characters that were created to be gay or
: were outed early in their appearances. in
: fact, i like northstar and maggie sawyer and
: no problem with the characters in
: "young avengers". but, this is
: clearly just for shock value, like so much
: else that seems to be in the book from what
: i've seen, a complete deconstruction of the
: character. hope there's something worthwhile
: to be salvaged by another writer when it's
: all done.
