Huston is a creative writer and he could have come up with a different way then what is becoming the norm for shock in comics these days. :However, Frenchie did nothing Frenchie and Marc have had differences between the two of them on and off for years. Even to the point they disliked each other. The two find a way to forgive each other's actions and come to terms with each other. : As for the new gay I already mentioned it in a previous post, but there is statistically an under representation of minority characters in comics. How many American Indian characters are there? What about Latino characters? While Black characters are slightly increasing, they are far behind statistically. The number of gay/lesbian characters are becoming more than that of the minority characters.

: I understand that there have been a lot of gay
: characters come up in comics lately, but I
: think it works here. Frenchie bieng gay came
: as a shock to Marc and helped drive them
: apart more.
: wrong so Marc feels bad about it. I really
: think it was a good idea.
: characters, consider this: When you look at
: the total number of fictional heroes in the
: MU and DCU, homosexuals are still
: statistically underrepresented in comics.
