Not a problem. My wife and I retired air traffic controllers and have been riding for about 2 years...but riding every day. I am involved in hunter/jumpers with my thoroughbred cross and my wife is an avid trail rider with her TWH and rides dressage with her Percheron. We are barefoot people as well and have an equine podiatrist instead of a farrier. Our horses are on Strategy with electrolites for this time of the year, flax seed for their coats, and T&A but I think we might go to a coastal mixed with alfalfa cubes because our guys seem to be getting a little too much protein. You can visit our web site at www.thepaintedponyranch.com or feel free to friend request me with my e-mail address on facebook. I have a number of photos there showing our farm and our horses. Shots aren't a big deal because as soon as we get a horse they get a physical, coggins, and caught up on their shots. I think I covered everything...if not please feel free to ask again.
