Hi,
I have an 18-year mare who is very sweet and protective. Her problem is she is underweight and I cannot put any weight on her. I had to take her off alfalfa because it was too rich and she continually fundered on it. I am at wits end, I have done everything I can think of: floating her teeth, deworming, pads on her front feet, blood workup which was fine. I feed her twice a day on a cross of Orchard/Timothy (more Orchard lately) and two scoops of Senior Equine. She has an arena I turn her out in and ride her once in a great while-she can be ponied very well. Any thoughts or comments or something I have overlooked, please let me know. I'm begging for help!
