I so agree with you. And people wonder why they can't sell their well bred horsesfor what they are worth. There is such a glut of horses on the market, and with the economy like it is, many horses that cannot be placed are being abandoned and/or starved. We need an option, and if humane slaughter is the only option, it is better than what is happening right now.
