Posted by Whit She's a completely sound, easy keeper but her early lack of exposure to new places and things probably make her best suited to be a companion, and definitely require an experienced home. We love this mare, but have too many babies and performance horses to spend the kind of time with her that she needs. Looking for a permanent, loving and patient home in Southern California or Arizona only. You can see her pedigree and photos on our website.

We have a wonderful 1985 Bask granddaughter who we just don't have the time to give the attention to that she deserves. We acquired her as an untouchable, never handled fifteen year old from someone who had gotten her in exchange for a feed bill when we needed a companion for a single older Arab gelding. Six years later she's friendly, social and easy to work with and has been up and under saddle but not for about four years. She gets VERY nervous when outside of her comfort range and is slow to adapt to new things. Initially she was at an Arab breeding facility, presumably as a broodmare, but has no get registered which leads us to assume that she's barren.
