Help with costumes & make-up

I am trying to make Haloween costumes for myself and my boyfriend. He wants to go as Growltiger and I want to go as Etcetera. I only have one shot at this due to supply and time constraints. If anyone has any ideas or helpful hints about making these costumes and make-up look good I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
