The problem is the balance of the speaker sound. Have you ever played one of those karaoke cds where you have to turn the balance all the way to either the right or the left to get the vocals to fade way? It's kind of like that.. where not all the sounds are centered, some are to the side.. so if your balance isn't directly in the center, you won't hear everything.
