They just killed off Meggan, or at best, exiled her to some sealed off dimension. What garbage is that?!
Why would the POTB at Marvel allow Meggan to be killed off when they're restarting the Excalibur series with Captain Britain?? It doesn't make any sense.
And no, Brian wouldn't have just let Meggan go as easily as that. Meggan is the love of Brian's life, his heart. He would die for her. Brian would have rather jumped through that portal and died by Meggan's side than sit there and watch her die. That was one of the most pathetic writing jobs of Brian and Meggan I've ever seen.
And since Meggan won't be in the new Excalibur series with Brian, than count me out. I could care less about reading that book now.
Cap is the only character I would read the book for, but now without Meggan at his side, how good can this new series be?!
And to be honest, this new series has more of an "X" book feel to it than a UK title anyway, and I'm not that big into mutant titles. The only one I currently read is Exiles, and only because it's more like a "What If?" book than mutant book.
It's too bad Marvel didn't hand this new series to Alan Davis and let him run with it. Stupid Marvel
