: Even though I'm a fan of CB and the Black
: Knight, I'm not sure how much I'm going to
: like this new series. The writer says Brian
: misses Meggan, but pretty much accepts it.
: What? The Brian I know would never give up
: looking for Meggan and it really ticks me
: off that no writer wants to tackle this
: situation.
Yes, but Paul is working using the position Brian was left in in New Excalibur, so the "missing her but accepting it" is pretty much what he was handed by his predecessor.
:
: Also, for some inexplicable reason, this
: writer has completely ignored the powers and
: weapons the Lady of the Lake gave him in the
: H4H series, and instead opting to arm him
: with the Ebony blade again. I don't like it,
: and it's disappointing to see a writer
: ignore the past continuity of a character.
:
Again, this is what the last writer left him - BK had ditched the Lady's weapons and was using the blade. Paul knows his continuity - I don't believe he's forgotten that BK has met the Lady and been given weapons by her in the past...twice. Unlike the HfH writer, Paul remembers that the Lady and Dane met one another before HfH.
