Posted by Luke I read the classic "Excalibur" back in the day; it actually was the first mainstream book I ever followed. I have since filled in a good portion of my collection, but I have never before come across this issue, so I was very happy to get my hands on it. It's in pretty decent condition, save for some slight chipping on the blacks of the back cover. This issue is a lot of fun, seeing the old team coming together, and reading "new" (to me) scenes of some of my favorite characters. All in all this almost makes up for the fact that I can't get that Captain Britain trade!

I was killing some time at the comic shop last Friday, flipping through the dollar bins. Imagine my surprise when I found, nestled gingerly between seemingly endless copies of "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Cable," a little comic called "Excalibur: Special Edition!" I was downright floored! Needless to say I had to buy it.
