Sorry Ebony Blade is what I meant to write. Yeah, it seems the Black Knight has kind of followed the trends of the Excaliber movies, then the Star Wars movies, then kind of got back to the science and sorcery of his roots in the H4H book.

: The current incarnation is from the Heroes 4
: Hire stint where he was given the armor,
: sword, shield, and horse by the Lady of the
: Lake.
:
: Do you like it or do you want him to go back
: to the blood lust sword of Excaliber or the
: energy blade?
:
: First, let me just say that I'm a HUGE
: Black Knight fan, and I have all of the
: comics he's appeared in.
:
: I absolutely LOVE Marvel Superheroes #15
: where he first gets the Ebony blade and his
: original look. But later on, when the
: writers started messing around with the
: whole "blood lust" part of it, I
: didn't really care for it at all.
:
: I never cared for the mechanical steed, and
: I like Strider the best.
:
: So, while I like his original look and the
: Ebony Blade in it's conceptional form, I
: like the current armor, powers and blade. I
: love the fact that the Lady of the Lake gave
: them to Dane. It just feels right.
:
: That being said, if a writer were to come
: along and undue the "blood lust"
: part of the Ebony blade (sort of how Doc
: Strange was able to for a short time), then
: I'd rather see Dane wield that sword.
