Chatting with Simon Furman, he plans (given chance) to tie the current story in Amazing Fantasy up with established Death’s Head continuity. So this new black one will become the green one. What he suggests is something along the lines of ‘DH gains the Uni-consciousness, escapes Varina’s influence, becomes a kind of ‘contract’ operative for G.E.I.S.T and then, we assume, goes solo. At which point, I could start to loop this into the established Lupex storyline. Rather than create DH, Lupex actually recreates DH, it’s just his vanity that prompts his subsequent claims. Then, to frustrate him, Pyra tries to thwart Lupex’s plans to possess the body by giving DH a personality, but actually she just reawakens his Uni-consciousness. Enough’s gone on to leave DH slightly amnesiac, his new personality (as bounty-hunter) a mix of Uni-consciousness and Pyra’s conditioning.’
So if you like the idea, do what Iam doing and petitioning Marvel every day at the following addresses: mondomarvel@marvel.com, officex@marvel.com, mheroes@marvel.com, hopefully they’ll listen and we’ll get to see the birth of the original Death’s Head we all know and love.
