It’s a trap some returning writers fall in to. Assumeing that nobody has touched a story they set up when they last wrote the series. One classic is the discrepancy with the Warpies. Warren Ellis wiped them out then they all turned up later in the series safe and sound.
Moaning aside, New Excalibur is proving to be much better than Uncanny X-Men has of late. Nice to see Lionheart’s fitting in with present continuity. If only we can get Cerise (who Claremont has written about before-so there’s hope) and Kylun.
The most interesting sub plot by far has to be the Captain Britain and ‘Courtney Ross’ one. Nice to see where this one goes.
