Hmm. Wizard, written by Americans I presume, wants CB to go back to the original costume, one designed by an American as an idea what a British hero should wear, as opposed to the costume designed by a British artist (Alan Davis).
: Greetings all! I got the new issue of
: "Wizard" in the mail last night
: and would like to share a little appearance
: by good ole Cap himself.
:
: There's a two page spread of costumes that
: the staff wants to see make a comeback, and
: one of them is Cap's original red suit!
: They kinda bash the Union Jack-style duds,
: saying he looks like a British version of a
: roided-out Superman (bleah). Then they say
: that a version of this costume was seen on
: Kelsey Leigh, and that Brian should get back
: the mask and "power scepter."
:
: Though the details are a little shaky (I
: would say that Kelsey's costume looked more
: like Brian when he was King of Otherworld
: than anything else, Brian had the new
: costume before "Excalibur," etc.),
: it is nice to see Cap get a little
: attention... especially considering that
: "New Excalibur" has gotten next to
: no ink.
:
: So what do you folks think? Should Brian go
: back to his original style costume, or keep
: the current one? My vote is for the current
: one, as I was introduced to Cap in
: "Excalibur" and thats the look I
: know for him.
