I was very impressed when reading the new Excalibur. Captain Britain acted with confidence as a leader which is unheard of since the days of his own series. There was a sense of authority about him. I could grow to like the costume- I think. It certainly not horrible.
Seeing Dazzler again was nice, good to see a character change with the times. Nice to see Chris Claremont pay tribute to the Excalibur that happened after his tenure on the book with the moments between Pryde and Wisdom. Done very well.
I would like to see the Jamie Braddock story wound up in Excaibur as opposed to Uncanny X-Men. Overall Iam impressed and will be picking this book up again. Of course we all know Meggan will be back one day.
