: In Vol 3 issue 6, Guardian, Vindicator,
: Shaman, Snowbird, Puck and Earthmover return
: the plodex egss into space. Sasquatch sees
: them off with some other New Flighters. Big
: question is did Guardian and Vindicator
: bring their baby?
Yes...Heather mentions that she wants to stop and pick up their daughter, before they head off into space.
: In Vol 3 issue 12, the "cross-temporal
: duplicates" of Guardian, Heather
: Hudson, Snowbird, Northstar, Aurora, and
: Puck came forward from the past, past being
: roughly in Vol #1 issue 12 when they were in
: New York - of note Snowbird was not even in
: New York.
That is incorrect...Snowbird did go to New York with Alpha Flight to battle the original Omega Flight, her throat was nearly slit by Diamond Lil (using an indestructible hair from Lil's own head) and she began to wither away, due to being away from Canada. Scott Lobdell's assertion that Narya wasn't in NY at the time of the Attack by Omega Flight is a screw up on his part.
: Vol #3 won't be wiped out as there are
: mentions of Yukon Jack in Omega Flight and
: Hercules (guest stars Snowbird in recent
: months).
: The Alphans who die in New Avengers are
: Guardian, Vindicator, Puck, Major Maple Leaf
: and Puck 2 (the latter 2 from Vol #3), plus
: Sasquatch who lives.
: No mention to date of (a) the plodex world
: bound Alphans returning or (b) the copies
: disappearing - so i'm going with the 4
: temporals dying along with MML & Puck 2.
: Given the timing of Northstar going to the
: Xmen (around 2001), and Vol #3 happening
: around 2004 (?) i believe they were not the
: duplicates.
There is still wiggle room in Sasquatch's statement of being the only survivor of the Coolective's attack on Alpha...There's also wiggle room with the Temporal copies still being around...The Handbook's just say they disappeared/vanished....We don't really know what happened to them. Perhaps Department H brain-washed them and used them to replace the Alphans who went into space, claiming they had returned from the Plodex world. I wouldn't put it past Dept H to pull shenanigans on Alpha again.
There are still plenty of ways to bring the originals back...Even Heather.
