If it's..."Is Jean Paul alive or dead?" The answer is yes and no...He's currently alive again in Marvel's main continuity, Dead in the X-Men: The End continuity....As for "Ultimate" X-Men Northstar, I'm not sure.
I like him and I'd like to see him (and Aurora) in a new Alpha Flight series...He just gets wasted (sometimes, literally) when he's in the X-books.
