MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS #9

Quick comments on the other stories:
VANGUARD:
Don't tell me both 12parters are going to have the exact same type of villainous 'possessor' type enemy? And how did Stacy find Yoosuf straight away? Missing the painted style art found in the early chapters and missing the BACKGROUNDS in this issue. Still, fun to get Thing(obviously subconsciously holding back) fight Blade and company.
MACHINE MAN:
Sheesh. Someone give HULK a body wax and plastic forehead surgery.
It was a... unique interpretation of Greenskin. Two disconnected Hulk stories in the same issue? Somebody smell the movie marketing dept.? Okay, may have to ask someone to clear up MM chronology after this unclear(?) retcon(?) past(?) adventure.
HULK:
WTH??!
Oh, wait here's a link: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=16569
Sorry, didn't help this bad story at all.
And now, the main event:
WEAPON OMEGA:
Pics from comicscontinuum link above:
p1
The jammed door makes for good tension but not sure how/why it would happen other than convenience. The mistaken doctor bit was funny.
p2
Wow, powerful entrance! Though, the 'response time' also came across as a element of convenience. Not liking the veiny chest take on Sasquie.
p3
How many times are we going to see this flashback with a Weapon Omega appearance? Don't get me wrong, perfect placement here.
p4
"He's even tougher than he is annoying." :D And then Brown, the Silver Tongued Devil
, blames The Collective!
p5
Good aftermath scene.
p6
Damn, Benning is still calling him Guardian. Spi guest appearance/concern makes up for that disappointment.
p7 AHA!
Rachel is tied up in it. Suggested/speculated that! This could get interesting.
p8
One of the blandest final panels ever. Spi guest appearance/smokin' HOT rendering, DEFINITELY, makes up for that disappointment.
