WEAPON OMEGA:
Finally getting the picture. Still needs some fine tuning though.
page1: 'Havent seen him(Pointer) for weeks'??!! WTH has Canada's new superteam been doing?
page2: Looks like CSIS security is a pathetic as SHIELD's when the story calls for it - like vent access to Pointer's high security monitored room. And USAgents covert mission doesnt bode well for this US/Canadian superteam collaboration.
page3: It was good details to mention a Scrambler and Langkowski's participation in recruiting Pointer in that CW One Shot. Also the cameo of Rachel to keep her weird factor connected to the story. Plus throwing in a good funny line is bonus: "What's happened since".
page 4: Finally some more fight action - much more visceral than fighting naseau. Using a more notable robotic construct or likeness would've given the training more reader impact and recog-factor, the MU has so many to choose from.
page 5: Aha! They ARE getting drained. At a glance Agent Brown is inhumane but possibly he might actually be just that jerk buffering the CSIS. That might work to carry him over to a new Alpha Flight series. Leaving just another torturously evil gov't organization in Canada - didnt we learn that, at least once, with Department that made Canucklehead?! *rhe*
page 6-7: More reveal! This IguanaBoy sequence tells of MGH. So first of all the human sacrifices are either mutants, exmutants on MGH, enhanced humans, normal humans on MGH or a combination of these. And secondly, no longer should Pointer be called Weapon Omega instead of Guardian by the end of the 12parts - he should be OFF THE TEAM. Alaska was traumatic for him there is no logical way that this reveal will be anything but worse for him.
page 8: Hope IguanaBoy survives. The 4 new disposable human batteries arriving are inevitably disposable - they should have had a more detailed and closer shot here, given the effort put into their neat character design details.
