Posted by Doug on 9/2/2007, 6:33 pm, in reply to "I Would LOVE AF Sans Kollins." If they do get brain implants at Marvel Editorial and we get an Alpha Flight or Omega Flight ongoing in 2008, great. Although Oeming and Kolins have sort of been told to "p*ss off", especially in regards to Alpha Flight, Kolins for one may be back someday. I am hoping for an ongoing Flight series but trust Brevoort/Quesada, the big dogs, as much as the Gypseys trusted the Nazis. I mean, they push She-Hulk (about an off-kilter nymphomaniac powerhouse) and Ant-Man (about a stupid, misogynist, low-life thief/liar who steals a power suit and remains a misogynist, stupid, low-life thief/liar) and wonder why both series struggle to find a readership (at least Buckley, the publisher, pulled the plug on them with Ant-Man, finally!). If there will be an ongoing, we may have to wait until those two are fired/quit.

I have nothing against Kolins. His art was fine but has been better, but Marvel forced him to use the "shaded" style he used in Omega Flight. That was one of the reasons he quit, besides being lied to about Omega Flight's ongoing. 274
